Sign Now      Annisa,   A visitor to SeaWorld Orlando recently posted a video on TikTok that went viral -- and for heartbreaking reasons.   As he watched trainers force a pod of dolphins to perform a live show, suddenly the whole group turned on one individual dolphin, attacking it until it began to openly bleed.   The injured, bleeding dolphin swam to the shallow end of the pool, resting there while it called out in pain multiple times.   Dolphins are enormously intelligent, complex creatures that thrive in open waters where they can play, form friendships, and work in teams together. Scientists are even discovering that dolphins have developed a form of language amongst themselves, and even have names!   But at places like SeaWorld, these wild beings are trapped and can't get away. On top of that, humans turn them into live puppets and make them entertain us while they are, essentially, imprisoned.   The pressures of this unnatural, coercive lifestyle eventually cause severe emotional pain -- and even physical illnesses, injuries, and death.   The solution to this attack is plain and simple: end the dolphins' captivity. Canada needs an animal abuse hotline

It is time the country stepped up and help save the animals! It Is Time for Canada to Establish a National Animal Cruelty Hotline      Sign Now      Annisa,   Animal cruelty is federally outlawed in Canada, and most provinces have their own laws which prohibit or criminalize neglect. But without a national animal cruelty hotline, prevention is incredibly difficult, and reporting can be slow and confusing. By destroying passengers' wheelchairs, airlines put peoples' lives in danger

Sign Now      Annisa,   Using a wheelchair is an experience many people have encountered, whether due to disabilities, injury, recovery after a medical procedure, or any number of other life situations. Yet airlines in the U.S. still make it incredibly difficult for people who use wheelchairs to fly.   Tragic stories abound of disabled flyers enduring miserable and dangerous treatment during air travel. This includes staff mishandling expensive and life-supporting wheelchair equipment, causing damage that's sometimes beyond repair.   This can cause disruptions in travel and work -- and it can also leave people without the equipment they need to actually stay alive. Just last year, activist Engracia Figueroa died after suffering medical complications because United Airlines destroyed her wheelchair.   These stories are incredibly common. A recent Washington Post investigation found that airlines lose, damage, or destroy around 29 mobility aids every single day. This amounts to more than 10,000 every year. For wheelchair users, these tools are not objects, but often considered extensions of themselves since they are so integral for mobility and autonomy.   That's why we're calling on the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to intervene. A RI boxer fractured his girlfriend's dog's ribs

Justice For Coco!      Sign Now      Annisa,   A Rhode Island boxer abused his girlfriend's 8-year-old beagle mix named Coco, causing multiple severe injuries -- including multiple rib fractures. He's facing animal cruelty charges, but we need to make sure he's banned from ever owning another animal again.   Sign the petition to demand that authorities fully prosecute this man and that he can never own animals in the future.   Coco was brought in for emergency care and had "multiple injuries consistent with physical abuse, including multiple rib fractures … and severe bruising." They abuse their dog until neighbors can hear

A good Samaritan has been trying to report animal abuse for a year, but police won't help. Almost two years ago, the woman began hearing sounds of a dog screaming out in pain, along with thudding sounds, in one of her neighbor's condo units. This was so disturbing, the woman began recording evidence. By documenting the horrific noises she heard and sharing it with police, she hoped to stop her neighbor from continuing to abuse their pet animal over and over again. But that wasn't enough for authorities.   Then, more recently, the neighbor passed by her door's security camera -- kicking his dog as he walked along. She took this visual evidence to the police as well, and still, nothing's changed. Police and other authorities have tried passing the buck back-and-forth, saying each agency is waiting for another to take action. But in the meantime, an innocent, helpless, captive animal is being tormented. What is the point in having laws to prevent animal cruelty if officials won't enforce them? Authorities' negligent response -- despite clear and compelling evidence of abuse -- makes them complicit in this problem!
