He went into a full, vindictive rage just because his neighbor fed his pet peacocks. Apparently, his neighbor had a soft spot for these birds, and had been feeding them. That alone was enough to send the man into a rage, creating a feud between the two humans. It all culminated in the neighbor receiving a horrible letter. The man wrote to her, saying he had killed and eaten two of his peacocks. And that he had done it out of "spite" to "prove a point" to her. His point? That "he will continue to kill his [remaining] pet peacocks if she continues to feed them." When speaking to authorities, the man confessed to all of this and he even described how he had killed the animals. Apparently, he slit their necks, allowed them to slowly die from bleeding out, then cut up their bodies, and fried them up. Obviously this man should never be allowed to own, live with, or work with animals in the future. California plans to euthanize a gentle mamma bear for becoming too used to humans

Sign Now    Annisa,   Officials with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) are planning to euthanize a mamma bear in the South Lake Tahoe area simply because she grew too used to being around the humans who had invaded her home habitat. As a result of becoming "habituated" — which is humans' fault! — CDFW determined she requires "lethal removal." Apparently, "bear number 753" — whom the community has named Hope — had broken into a few neighborhood homes in search of easy food. But community members have noticed that many of these homes had open or unlocked doors and windows. There is an easy solution to this, and it's not death for the bear! Authorities have not accused Hope or Bounce of any violence towards humans. These bears have just been trying to survive in a landscape that is increasingly full of people. Community members have proposed many alternative solutions to killing this foraging bear. Officials could create public education campaigns that teach residents to actually close and lock all their doors and windows — a basic and common-sense prevention method. They could also require all homeowners to install electrical wiring around their homes or properties, which would deliver a non-lethal shock to curious bears. Finally, they could even relocate "habituated" bears to more remote, less-populated areas. We must stand by Hope the mamma bear, Bounce her cub, and the Tahoe community! Police are claiming 'no foul play' after 2 men found hanging from trees in Mississippi

Sign Now    Annisa,   In September 2025, two men were discovered lifeless and hung from trees in Mississippi, recalling the horrific history of lynchings in southern U.S. states. While they were located in different towns, the incidents both happened within hours of each other. Demartravion "Trey" Reed was only 21 years old and a student at Delta State University. Authorities have said there are videos of the young Black student's death, but they are keeping those contents quiet. Instead, local officials have claimed that Reed supposedly died by suicide, disputing the notion that there could be evidence of 'foul play.' Cory Zukatis was 36 years old. He was found in a forest and already his case is being met with dismissive tones by referencing the difficulties he faced in life, including homelessness. While Zukatis was white, his plight also reminds us of the cruelties inflicted on unhoused persons. The fact that these hangings were discovered on the same day reminds us of the horrors that have been inflicted, especially on Black people, for generations. The NAACP posted a statement voicing "skepticism" about the police's preliminary findings regarding Reed's death, stating: "we offer this piece of history with a level of certainty: Our people have not historically hung ourselves from trees..." Reed's family has hired civil rights attorney Ben Crump to push for an independent autopsy and full investigation, while Congressman Bennie Thompson from Mississippi is urging the FBI to investigate.
