Tens of thousands of Texans are going hungry for the holidays

Greg Abbott should be ashamed. Hungry Families Are Being Forced to Wait "Six Months or More" For Help Buying Food in Texas. This Is Unacceptable.      Sign Now      Annisa,   It's the holiday season — a time for gathering with loved ones to exchange gifts, create memories or reminisce about past ones, and eat lots and lots of good food. That is, unless you are a resident of Texas who needs help buying groceries.   You see, in Texas, local policymakers have left hungry families out in the cold, allowing wait times for Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program (SNAP) applications to go for six months or longer!   Do you think you could go six months or longer without buying groceries? Us either.   The health, happiness, and literal survival of Texas' citizens hangs in the balance. We must let Greg Abbott and his administration know that the world is watching, and we demand support and justice for the tens of thousands of vulnerable people being affected by this gross negligence.   Sign the petition to demand the governor end the unbearably long SNAP delays in Texas and feed the hungry! Thank you, Lauren Care2 Petitions Team P.S. People in Texas who have applied for food stamps are being forced to wait for months for help buying good. This town is showing us how to coexist with polar bears

With climate change escalating, it is crucial to support these efforts. The 'Polar Bear Capital of the World' is Showing Us Conservation Efforts Work      Sign Now      Annisa,   In Churchill, Manitoba, a small, remote town known as 'the polar bear capital of the world,' a remarkable story of coexistence and conservation is unfolding. The town's innovative and humane methods of managing polar bear encounters, including the Polar Bear Alert program and the polar bear holding facility, are making significant strides in balancing human safety with the well-being of these majestic animals. As climate change continues to affect polar bear habitats, leading to more frequent interactions with humans, it is crucial to support and enhance these efforts.   Sign this petition to encourage Canadian wildlife authorities and Churchill community leaders to sustain and expand their successful polar bear management practices.   The recent developments in Churchill, from effectively managing food attractants to educating the public on bear behavior, are a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together for wildlife conservation. Stand against the two-faced climate hypocrisy of Fox News host Bret Baier

Fox News hosts must stop spreading hypocritical lies about climate change. Fox Hosts Know Climate Change Is Real, But They Keep Spreading Doubt and Disinformation Anyway. Sign Now      Annisa,   Climate change is increasingly destroying our world. From terrifying wildfires and floods, to devastating heat waves that reached all-time highs this year, it's incredibly obvious that we need to address climate change — and fast.  But Fox News anchors, including Bret Baier, have spent countless hours pushing false narratives that dismiss climate change science and condemn green energy sources. And now we're learning this has all been two-faced manipulation and hypocrisy. For example, just last year, Baier installed 86 solar panels at his Washington, D.C. mansion — all while still peddling this climate skepticism on his show, "Special Report." This type of hypocrisy just shows that Baier knows what he's pushing are lies. He is clearly pandering to his audience to get views. But now his deception is out in the open. It's not a surprise that an anchor on Fox would be caught up in yet another hypocrisy scandal. Following Dominion Voting Systems' lawsuit against Fox, we learned that Fox hosts privately acknowledged that Donald Trump had lost the election, while pushing lies about a so-called "stolen election" on-air. They also constantly railed against COVID-19 vaccine mandates — while getting vaccinated themselves, because it was a company requirement! Sowing doubt about climate change is damaging to our society and the future wellbeing of our planet — and it's worsen since we know Baier is aware of this. Baier has a huge platform and therefore an equally huge responsibility to tell the truth.   Demand Bret Baier immediately cease promoting skepticism about climate change! Sign the petition to demand truth and justice now! Thank you, Miranda Care2 Petitions Team P.S. Bret Baier must immediately cease his hypocritical climate denialism on Fox. A fraternity slaughtered a cow just to taunt a rival team

The poor cow deserved better. An Oklahoma Fraternity Killed a Longhorn Cow To Taunt a Rival Team      Sign Now      Annisa,   The gruesome discovery of a dead longhorn cow, desecrated and left on the lawn of a fraternity at Oklahoma State University, has sent shockwaves through the community, especially on the eve of a significant football game against the University of Texas Longhorns. This act of animal cruelty is not only disturbing but also a blatant disrespect for animal life.   Sign the petition to demand that Oklahoma State University and the Stillwater Police Department conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that those responsible for this heinous act are held accountable.   The longhorn, found with an expletive carved into its side and its stomach cut open, represents a shocking level of violence and disregard for animal welfare. This incident goes beyond rivalry or pranks; it is a serious crime that reflects a deeply concerning attitude towards animals. Sign the petition to call for swift and decisive action from university and local authorities in response to this act of cruelty! Thank you, Jess Care2 Petitions Team P.S. It's time to hold the animal murderers accountable. Act now!      Sign Now
