They shot a dog nine times

Police still haven't caught the shooter. This Dog Was Found Suffering From Gunshot Wounds, and the Perpetrator Is Still Out There      Sign Now      Annisa,   The recent horrifying discovery of brutally abused and murdered dogs in Youngstown, Ohio's east side has shaken the community to its core. In a shocking and heart-wrenching case, a dog was found guarding the body of another dog that had suffered nearly a dozen gunshot wounds, showing signs of being dragged. The graphic nature of this crime, with the dog shot nine times, reflects a chilling disregard for life and an alarming level of cruelty.   Sign this petition to urge Youngstown local authorities and law enforcement to invest all necessary resources in finding and prosecuting the individuals responsible for these heinous acts of animal abuse.   Within just 24 hours and two miles away, another devastating case emerged: an emaciated dead dog, a male pit bull, was found wrapped in a tarp, weighing only 26 pounds -- far below a healthy weight for his breed. These incidents, along with previous cases in the same area, suggest a disturbing pattern of animal abuse. The locations where these dogs were found -- deserted, wooded areas, and overgrown, abandoned streets -- indicate that these are not isolated incidents. Sign this petition to call for immediate and rigorous action to find and bring the abusers to justice, sending a clear message that such brutality will not be tolerated. This president called for stoning gay people to death

Burundi's president encouraged homophobic terror and violence. The President of Burundi Wants Citizens to Stone Queer People to Death Sign Now    Annisa,   The president of Burundi recently encouraged people to stone LGBTQ+ individuals — a brutal and terrifying form of murder. This is a direct incitement to homophobic violence and we should all be outraged. President Evariste Ndayishimiye shared his views during a recent question-and-answer event with the public and journalists, where he said of queer people: "[If] we find them in Burundi, it is better to lead them to a stadium and stone them. And that cannot be a sin." Being a member of the LGBTQ+ community is already extremely dangerous in the country. If you're caught and convicted of engaging in same-sex relations, you could be imprisoned for up to two years. Queer people are seriously marginalized, facing social ostracization and intimidation. No one should face death or terror just because of who they love. Burundi's government should be rolling back hateful laws, not doubling down on anti-gay sentiments.   Burundi is a member of the U.N. Sustainable Development Group, which supposedly prioritizes respect for human rights. But calling for brutal acts of terror does not count as respecting human rights. Sign the petition now to demand the United Nations Sustainable Development Group hold member nation Burundi accountable for its president's incitements to hate crimes!   Thank you, Miranda Care2 Petitions Team P.S. We must protect human rights for everyone, including LGBTQ+ people! Sign the petition.      Sign Now

Demand justice for dog that nearly suffocated and baked alive in dumpster

Why would someone do this to little Xyla the 16-year-old Shih Tzu? He Dumped an Elderly Dog in the Trash with Rope Tied Around Her Neck, in Extreme Heat Sign Now    Annisa, A man in Florida was recently caught on video dumping a live dog in a dumpster — leaving the 16-year old nearly-blind Shih Tzu to die. When authorities arrived, they discovered that he'd left a rope tied around the dog's neck, then stuffed her inside a trash bag. Meanwhile, the temperatures in Florida had risen, meaning not only would little Xyla have slowly suffocated to death — she would have also been dying from extreme heat. As the county sheriff's office stated, "She was on her way to a painful death ... her last moments would have been like drowning from the inside out." When police apprehended the man, he claimed the dog's owners had passed away, leaving him in charge. Apparently he told the rest of the family he was going to take the dog away "to be put down." The man has been arrested and charged with animal abuse. If convicted, he would be placed on the local Animal Abuser Registry, and therefore banned from owning animals. Clearly this man needs counseling to help him process why he would treat an animal like that. Sign the petition to urge authorities to require him to receive counseling treatment!   Thank you, Miranda Care2 Petitions Team P.S. This man's version of "putting down" a dog was abandoning her with a rope around her neck, in a trash bag, in a dumpster, and in intense heat. Sign the petition.      Sign Now

Sarah and Dennis died after drinking this lemonade from Panera

Yet Panera refuses to take responsibility. Demand Justice for Sarah Katz and Dennis Brown, Whose Deaths Have Been Linked to Panera Bread's Charged Lemonade!      Sign Now      Annisa,   By now you've likely heard about the heartbreaking deaths that have been linked to Panera Bread's Charged Lemonade and the allegations that its high caffeine content wasn't properly advertised. We must demand justice for these two victims and their grieving families, and ensure the safety of others who could also be at risk   Sarah Katz was just 21 years old, a brilliant young student. She a heart condition that she was extremely careful about — according to a friend, Sarah never would've touched the lemonade with a "10-foot pole" had she known how much caffeine it contained. But Sarah had no idea, and after drinking the lemonade in September 2022, she went into cardiac arrest and tragically passed away.   Dennis Brown was 46 years-old, a beloved member of his family. Because of his high blood pressure, Dennis avoided energy drinks — but because Panera didn't adequately advertise the wildly high caffeine content, Dennis drank three. He died from a cardiac arrest on his way home.   Panera's response to these tragic incidents has been cold and unsatisfactory. Sign this petition today to tell Panera that we will not stand by silently while they disregard the safety of their customers and deny responsibility for these tragic losses! Thank you, Lauren Care2 Petitions Team P.S. Panera's Charged Lemonade has been linked to two deaths, but the company refuses to take responsibility. Demand justice.      Sign Now

Rodeos are abusive and should be banned

It's time to ban them. Rodeos Are Inhumane. California Should Finally Ban Them.      Sign Now      Annisa,   The Los Angeles City Council's unanimous vote towards banning harmful rodeo events, such as bull riding and calf roping, is a great step forward for animal rights in California. Rodeos can cause calves to have punctured lungs, internal organ damage, ripped tendons, torn ligaments, snapped necks, and agonizing deaths. As the law moves towards finalization, it is crucial to not only support its implementation in Los Angeles but also to extend this call for compassion to the entire state of California.   Sign this petition to encourage the Los Angeles City Council to promptly finalize the rodeo ban ordinance and to urge the California State Legislature to consider a similar statewide ban on inhumane rodeo practices.   The initiative highlights the need to protect animals from cruelty and exploitation. Los Angeles is poised to set a precedent for the rest of California, and ultimately, the nation, in ending the inhumane treatment of animals in rodeos. Sign the petition to support the passage of Los Angeles' rodeo ban ordinance and to call upon California's lawmakers to enact a comprehensive ban on these cruel practices across the state.
