Annisa,
A pet mom in Ontario, Canada wanted to take her partner out-of-town for the weekend, so she dropped off her two bulldogs at a kennel where they could be taken care of.
Less than 24 hours later, the business owner called her with a blunt message about one of her dogs: "Yeah, like he's dead." When the pet owner demanded to see her dog, the woman reportedly told her: "Well, he's in the freezer. I put him in the freezer."
After the pet owner shared her story on social media, another dog mom responded saying her dog had also died at the kennel — on the same day. Authorities have since identified at least 24 dogs that this woman had severely neglected. Five of the dogs ended up dying.
All pet owners involved had entrusted this woman because she seemed to be running a reputable business. But apparently, the woman had actually been running an illegal kennel business out of her home, operating without a license. Authorities actually had cited her multiple times before for various infractions.
So how was this allowed to happen? If authorities knew, then how could things have ever gotten to this point? Sign the petition to demand an investigation now!
