To make matters worse, the Russian government responded far too late, only mobilizing after a surge of public outrage highlighted the severity of the spill. Even with the government taking action, not enough is being done to mitigate the disaster.   Sign the petition to urge the Russian government to launch a full-scale cleanup operation! The shores of the Black Sea are now a toxic wasteland, with dead wildlife washing ashore and continuous waves of oil polluting our beaches.
