Apple Store Refuses to Sell iPad to Iranian-American Teen

An Iranian-American teenager was told by an Apple store employee in Georgia that they could not sell her an iPad because it would violate U.S. trade restrictions. The refusal came after the employee heard the customer speaking Farsi.

Fires Sparked by Target Shooters Prompt Evacuations

More than 9,000 people in Utah have been driven from their homes by a wind-whipped wildfire started by two target shooters at a landfill. This is the 20th fire this year in Utah sparked by shooters, but because of the state's zealous protection of gun rights, fire prevention is left to individuals' "common sense."

The Free Software Foundation has slammed Microsoft for categorizing donate.fsf.org website as a "Gambling Site." Corporate systems that use a Microsoft 'network security' program cannot access FSF donation website because of this and as a result, many people were unable to make donations.
